Natural Energy Bar Recipe I Lost My Favorite Energy Bar Recipe, Does Anyone Have A Similar One?

I lost my favorite energy bar recipe, does anyone have a similar one? - natural energy bar recipe

My favorite energy bar recipe in it, including: Mixed Nuts (crushed), Sessame, linseed, millet, rice syrup, agave, evaporated cane juice (maybe had some sugar, but I do not know), dried coconut, cinnamon, salt . It was just a mess, and between two sheets of waxed paper and not in the oven or not passed. It was nuts, that I remember. The ingredients were organic / Total / Natural, as I recall. It may have led Protin powder or other spices and seasonings, but two years since I've seen, and I do not know. Anyone? Thank you.

they have in my recipe box for some time and are close to what you are looking for, but not really ... I always say that I am at home, bars, before hiking or mountain biking ... Unfortunately I always forget, and must stop at Whole Foods last night ...
You should be able to get all the ingredients in whole foods or trader joes ...
Good luck:)

* 1 1 / 2 cups ground almonds
* 1 1 / 2 cup ground walnuts
* Seeds from 1 / 4 cup sesame seeds
* 1 / 2 cup pine nuts
* 1 / 2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
* 1 cup dried cranberries
* 3 / 4 cup agave nectar, maple syrup or molasses
Cinnamon, cardamom or nutmeg (optional)

Preheat oven to 275 ° C.

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. The mixture is slightly sticky. With wet fingers, press into a 7x11 inch pan that has been sprayed with canola oil. Bake for 30 minutes to an hour depending on how you prefer to grill. Cool, then cut into 16 pieces. Refrigerate.

Here is something I snarfed from lattice years ago. I do not use them in races or training, but they are good for hiking. To be done Despite the name, I do not think it tastes very similar (plus I think PowerBar).

Home-made "power ball"

Ingredients:

24 figs
Honey 1 / 3 cup
4 tbsp. Orange juice
2 v. soup. Lemon juice

2 egg whites
1 cup oat bran

Instructions:

Add figs, honey, orange juice and 2 tbsp. Lemon juice in a food processor, and a mixture of the "cutting" setting, until figs are finely chopped. Set aside. Put remaining ingredients (except oat bran) made in mixing bowl. Beat with electric mixer at medium speed 3-4 minutes. Add the mixture of the figure until allMixtures thing. Roll 20-24 balls and coat with oat bran poured on a plate. Place on balls and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until hot and slightly swollen. Place in refrigerator to harden.
